Youn Lee, Resident in Counseling, Art Therapist
Youn Lee is a Resident in Counseling (License #0704017332) and a Provisional Registered Art Therapist (License #24-895). She is dedicated to providing a warm, non-judgmental, and creative space for clients to explore their emotions, process challenges, and discover pathways to healing. Youn believes in meeting clients where they are, honoring their unique experiences, and tailoring each session to support their personal growth and resilience.
Youn holds a Master of Arts in Art Therapy from George Washington University and is an active member of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA). Fluent in both English and Korean, she values cultural sensitivity and strives to create an inclusive and safe therapeutic environment for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Youn has experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and major life transitions. She also works with individuals facing cultural trauma, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, and mood disorders.
Her approach combines Person-Centered Therapy, Strength-Based interventions, Narrative Therapy, and Positive Psychology, with a primary focus on Art Therapy as a tool for self-expression and healing.
Youn offers individual therapy sessions for children, teens, adults, and older adults, both in-person and online. Through a compassionate and collaborative approach, she helps clients feel seen, valued, and empowered as they move toward meaningful change and emotional well-being.
